Spectrum

Second Skin Spectrum is our water-based elastomeric noise and vibration dampin liquid. It can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on to achieve damping results 3 times better than any asphalt mat on the market. When applied in equal thicknesses to mas laoding vibration mats, Spectrum is not only lighter, but it will provide better noise and vibration reduction over a greater ranger of frequencies.

Once cured, Spectrum is odorless, waterproof, and extremely resistant automotive chemicals and is odor free. Spectrum will retain permanent adhesion in even the most extreme environments. Because it won't chip or crack under extreme temperatures or abuse, it can be used as an undercoating as well as an interior coating. Spectrum is also non-toxic, non flammable and has more anti corrosion and rust inhibitors that any other product onthe market.

Spectrum Sludge

Spectrum Sludge is the thickest vibration putty/paste on the market. One coat is all you need to achieve the minimum thickness of 1mm but a total thickness of up to 4 mm can be applied in a single coat if desired. Spectrum Sludge dampens more vibrations and noise with less added weight and less layers. Use as an interior or exterior coating to prevent vibration, noise and rust. Save time, energy, weight and money! Because Sludge is so thick it can not be sprayed.

We developed our own formulas to bring you products that can not be found anywhere else. Spectrum Sludge is only sold by Second Skin - never relabeled for sale by other companies. Spectrum Firewall

Second Skin Firewall is a revolutionary ceramic based polymer used to block heat and noise on metal panels in extreme automotive conditions. We took the basic formula for our liquid vibration damper Spectrum, and replaced all the filler with a high temperature polymer resin base with ceramic spheres and nano-scopic glass beads. This high quality ceramic formula will not only lower the internal temperature of a car by as much as 40 degrees, but will block more vibrations and sound than any other thermal acoustic liquid on the market. The acrylic polymer resin we used is by far the most advanced vibration damper and heat absorbing product on the market and because it is water based, Firewall is loaded with anti-corrosion fillers to prevent rust. Second Skin Firewall is perfect for modified cars, muscle cars, engine compartments and extreme SPL sound system vehicles.

This product is the best liquid damper we make. When using Firewall to reduce heat, Firewall should be applied at a minimum thickness of 2mm. at this thickness you will get 20 square feet of coverage out of a single gallon.
